Bright Side

This piece was pure experimentation - a chance for me to push myself and develop a stronger personal style.

I’ve always loved the way my petal pieces looked before the canvas was completely covered, but I was never quite sure how to leave negative space without the artwork feeling unfinished. With the addition of an abstract background and touches of gold leaf, I finally found the balance and composition I’d been searching for.

This artwork means a lot to me. I trusted my intuition, took a risk, and in the process found the artistic growth I’d been looking for.

I hope whoever brings Bright Side into their home feels joy every time they look at it - and that it serves as a little reminder that we are all capable of change, growth, and becoming something new. 🌷

A mix of artist grade modelling paste and heavy body acrylic paint have been used to give this painting its beautiful thick texture.
